Description

Some dogs struggle with snow and ice accumulating on their fur in the winter. With the Protector snow, your dog can overcome snowy weather and enjoy winter adventures with you!

The four-way stretch fabric allows your dog to move freely and ensures a good fit. This full body snow suit is not insulated to provide warmth, but will help your dog stay warm as the coat insulates better when it is free of snow and ice.

Even though Protector snow is developed for winter use, this full body dog suit can also be used for protection against ticks, foxtail barley and burrs.

The Protector snow comes in male and female editions. The suit has openings so that your dog can excrete. These openings come with a premade cutting pattern for individual fitting. The male dog edition comes with a patch of inner fleece lining to protect the testicles.

The black and orange color makes the Protector snow highly visible. A reflective print increases visibility when it is dark.

Protector snow sizes range from XXS-L (female) and XXS-XL (male).

FAQ

HOW DO I PUT ON THE PROTECTOR SNOW?
Start by putting your dog’s head through the neck opening. To facilitate sliding the legs through the sleeves, you can put a plastic bag on your dog’s paws. Put the suit on with the front legs first and then the hind legs. When the leg is through the sleeve, you can remove the plastic bag. Zip the suit up and fasten the hook and loop fastener to secure it.
HOW TO FIND THE RIGHT SIZE?
The sizing of the Protector snow is based on your dog’s weight. In the size chart, you find which size your dog’s weight corresponds to. You can also fill in your dog’s weight in our sizing tool, and size will be suggested for you.» The Protector snow should have a snug fit to prevent snow from coming into the suit. The fabric is elastic and will form well to your dog’s body.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE MALE AND FEMALE VERSION OF PROTECTOR SNOW?
The Protector snow for male dogs has a customizable opening so that the dog can urinate. It also has extra padding to protect the testicles. The Protector snow for females has a customizable opening so the female dogs can urinate. To customize the openings, simply cut to the next pre-made seam.
CAN I ALSO USE THE PROTECTOR SNOW IN SUMMER?
The Protector snow is developed for use in snow, but some use it all year round to protect against ticks, foxtail barley and burrs. This full body suit can also be used after surgery and to protect sensitive skin. Be aware that the fabric might get damaged easier if used on dryland. Wear and tear caused by vegetation is not covered by warranty. If using the Protector snow in warmer temperatures, make sure your dog does not overheat.
CAN I USE A HARNESS OVER PROTECTOR SNOW?
It is possible to use a harness over the Protector snow, but be aware that this might wear on the fabric.
